I was shocked to read matter on election written by ajtshatru,It was really shocking that a oragnisation like manch which is having more than 500 branch conduct election in such a casual way.after discusing with several senior members I have come to know that some branches send the proposal proposing the name of the candidate ,but till that time candidate's consent is not required. I become qurious to know the whole process of election ,some how I managed the copy of booklet issued by election officer.I read it very carefully and came to know that nomination paper is to be filed by the branches.That means the person whose name has been proposed may not be knowing about his canditaure.surprisingly...........it happens in manch only........

Second election officer will open said so called nomination ,infact legally those are not the nomination ,may call only proposal, on 09-11-2008 and candidate are required to file certain document on or before 12 pm on 25-12-08.But I could not understand when and how candidate will be intimated about his canditdature.
third a valid list of the candidate will be known to member only at 2 pm on the day of election just before 4 hrs of voting.
Fourth final list after withdrawl, if any, shall be published at 5.30 pm just befor 1 hrs of voting.
I dont know how our election officer will handle the election where more than 1000 voter will be voting.
it creates suspicion in the mind of people about the whole process of election,I am sure if some member try to raises their voices on all this issues ,he will be dumped some where,this is the irony of whole situation.
I requst member of the manch to raise voice on pre-organsed killing of democracy in the manch by some self claimed leader who does not allow others to speak.
This is the height of the negligent attitude of conducting election of such a high esteemed orgnisation.I feel our leader need to learn about election,I am sure this election will not be fare enough,it will provide advantage to one group of person who are closed to our election officer.
